The main view never summarizes your account in one ambiguous figure. It distinguishes, at minimum, Reported royalties and Available balance.
Splits
Every share, defined from the start.
Assign percentages to artists, producers, and collaborators so income tied to the release can be distributed according to the registered agreements.
If the creator of the split isn't included among the participants, UXEM explicitly warns about it before continuing.
Do participants need a UXEM account?
Not to be invited. If the email isn't registered, the person receives an invitation to join UXEM and accept their share.
When does a split start applying?
The split is created with a start date from its creation, but it stays in Pending status until every invited participant accepts.
Can it be modified after it's active?
Yes. A percentage change is recorded as a pending modification until it's confirmed.
What happens if an invitation isn't accepted?
The split has an acceptance deadline. If it passes without everyone accepting, the invitation expires.
Can a split be terminated?
Yes, and termination is irreversible: it's recorded with its reason in the split's history.
UXEM's commission
You know what UXEM keeps and what you receive.
While you keep an active distribution plan, UXEM applies 0% commission on distribution royalties, subject to the service conditions.
Platforms may apply their own calculations, withholdings, or adjustments before reporting.
Reports may include taxes or other costs associated with the platform or territory.
The 0% refers to UXEM's commission, not to all digital activity having a gross value with no deductions.
When you don't have an active plan
Your catalog and existing royalties remain available on UXEM, but you won't be able to submit new releases until you activate a plan. While you have no active plan, UXEM's standard commission applies.

What's the minimum balance?
The minimum payout amount is $20 USD. If your balance is below this amount, it accumulates until it reaches the threshold.

Are there verifications?
Yes. Your payout account must be verified before receiving a payment.
What happens if a payment fails?
It's recorded with that status in your history, and UXEM manages the retry.
How are taxes and withholdings handled?
Reports may include taxes associated with the platform or the territory where the activity originated.

Movements platforms have already informed to UXEM, even if they're still in Pending or Confirmed status.
When its status changes to Available: UXEM has already received the corresponding funds and your payout account is verified.
